SKIN CANCER CHECK

Skin cancer check involves:

​

• Taking history

• Examination of the skin with the naked eyes and with a dermatoscope (Special medical tool to magnify the skin  lesion)

• Taking photos (including Dermoscopic photos) for medical record

 

At this stage we are not offering general skin cancer checks. Skin cancer check is exclusively performed before the following treatments:

​

• Before cosmetic removal of the skin lesions (to ensure the treated lesions are not skin cancers)

• Before treatment of pigmented lesions (to exclude melanoma)

In occasions we might decide to send the skin lesion or a biopsy to pathology for histology exam
